Submission Guidelines

By entering the Contest, the Participant agrees to be bound by the Contest Rules as designed and published by the Organizer, Small Business BC.

Listed below are the general submission guidelines when entering a business plan or business application. 

General Submission Rules:

• Single space with Times New Roman font of letter size 12 on 8.5 x 11 paper (letter size);
• Plans may be submitted in either official language (English or French);
• Maximum length of application shall not exceed 25 pages, EXCLUDING Title Page, Table of Contents, Financials, and any Appendices;
• Contest submissions must be done either online, mailed-in or sent in-person. FAXES and EMAILS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
• Only choose ONE submission method (online, mail or in-person).
• All submissions are FINAL. There will be NO REPLACING DOCUMENTS OR PARTS THEREOF.
• Organizer will not be responsible for loss or damages to the materials submitted. All submissions will NOT BE RETURNED.
• All Business Start-Up Award Participants must read the Biz Start-Up Submission Format Rules before submitting their business plan.
• All Business Growth Award Participants must read the Biz Growth Submission Format Rules before submitting their application form.
